Refund policy
The short version
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery on unworn pairs in the original box, with the customer covering return shipping. Defective-on-arrival and wrong-item orders are refunded in full, including shipping both ways.
Standard returns · within 14 days
If you change your mind, sizing doesn't work, or you simply want to return the pair, we accept returns under the following conditions:
- Return requested within 14 days of delivery (date of carrier delivery scan).
- Pair is completely unworn — no creases, no sole wear, no scuffing. Try-on indoors on carpet only.
- Original box, all original accessories (extra laces, hangtags, inserts, dust bag if applicable) included.
- Pair shipped back in a protective outer box; the shoe box itself must arrive undamaged.
- Customer pays return shipping.
Refund issued to the original payment method within 3 business days of receipt and inspection. The original $9.99 shipping charge is non-refundable on standard returns. No restocking fee.
What we cannot accept
Returns are not accepted on:
- Pairs worn outdoors or showing any sign of wear (sole abrasion, creases, fading, odor).
- Pairs returned without the original box, accessories, or hangtags.
- Pairs returned more than 14 days after delivery.
- Pairs damaged in customer transit because they were shipped without an outer protective box.
- Items marked Final Sale at checkout (only applies to specific clearance drops, and is shown on the product page).
Defective on arrival
If a pair arrives with a manufacturing defect (sole separation, broken stitching, misaligned panels) that we missed during inspection, please email info@legendssneakersnyc.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will issue a prepaid return label and either replace the pair (if available) or refund the full purchase price including shipping.
Wrong item shipped
If you receive a pair that does not match what you ordered — wrong model, wrong colorway, or wrong size — email us within 48 hours with photos and your order number. We cover return shipping both ways and ship the correct pair (if available) or refund the order in full at your option.
How to start a return
- Email info@legendssneakersnyc.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We respond within 1 business day with return instructions and (for defective or wrong-item cases) a prepaid label.
- Ship the pair back. Customer-paid returns: use any tracked carrier; we recommend USPS Priority with insurance for the purchase value.
- Upon receipt and inspection (typically 1–2 business days), the refund is issued to your original payment method within 3 business days.
Refund timing
Refunds to credit/debit cards typically appear in 3–10 business days depending on your bank. Refunds to Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay typically appear within 1–3 business days. Stripe refund receipts are emailed the moment the refund is issued from our end.
Pickup-order returns
Pairs picked up locally in NYC may be returned in person within the same 14-day window, by appointment. DM @legendssneakersny to arrange.
